Xherdan Shaqiri between Schalke 04 and Premier League

Shaqiri‘s adventure with the Italian Serie A is coming to an end, the swiss International has packed his bags and the most probable destination could be Schalke 04. Inter and Schalke have yet to actually reach an agreement on the fees, while the germans await on the sale of Draxler (who isn’t as close to joining Juventus as it was made to believe in the past few days – ndr) are offering £9m, although Inter are expecting to balance the fee paid of £11m for the attacking midfielder.

As the Gazzetta dello Sport reported this morning, Premier League interest was higher than thought to be with only Stoke approaching the player in the recent past, now also Crystal Palace and Everton are reported to be interested in the signing of the ex-Bayern Munich player.

It’s obvious that, in the current circumstances Shaqiri will not be remaining at Inter for much longer, and after the arrival of Jovetic at Inter, it’s most likely that Perisic is soon to follow.
