The Plan: £22m cash injection for Inter Milan

The club’s first priority currently is to sell the deadweight in the team. The Neroazzuri are planning to sell the players with the most appeal, to reach at least £22m to invest and further strenghten the team for the next season.

Here’s what Calciomercato.com reports: “It’s been a difficult pre-season, despite the many signings signed by Roberto Mancini. The losses in China against Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and A.C. Milan, and last sunday against Galatasaray; 6 goals conceeded and no goals scored. The team continues to follow in Mancini’s footsteps, convinced that when the three points will be at stake, the team will react and play with more determination. Meanwhile, the directors of football at the club are working on the sales of the transfer listed players to bring fresh cash and complete the roster for Mancini.

£22m to spend – That’s what the Gazzetta writes today, as the club awaits Shaqiri to make a move, with interest from Bundesliga clubs Schalke 04 and Borussia Dortmund; then there’s Danilo D’Ambrosio, who has to choose from Schalke and West Ham. Without forgetting Nagatomo who’s close to a Galatasaray transfer, without forgetting the various Taider, Andreolli and Schelotto who havn’t had too many bids as of late. Inter Milan is trying, with the sales of said players, to reach the sum of £22m, to make the final bid for Ivan Perisic, and approach a left footed fullback (Alex Telles, Masuaku, Clichy and Criscito the names most probable), and Felipe Melo who has been pushing for a transfer to the Italian club.
