Vidic out Injured for five months

Inter loses Nemanja Vidic due to a back injury that will see him out of the team sheet for 4-5 months.

The Serbian international tried a quick recovery by sitting out all of the summer friendlies and working intensly in the facilities, but after the last few check ups it has become obvious that he will have to undergo an operation.

This operation, due to the 33 years of age that will soon become 34 in October, will be a delicate one that could decide in the most extreme of cases an early retirement for the ex-Manchester United player.

It’ll be most likely that Vidic, who was transfer listed by the club, will not added to the Serie A list of 25 players. Quite a hairy situation.
